They are general information about the regulation, not legal advice, not a compliance determination and not a substitute for advice on your own products and facts. If a guide and the regulation text differ, the regulation text - as published in the Official Journal and consolidated on EUR-Lex - governs.

Accuracy and dates

Every guide carries the date it was last checked against the regulation text. Law and guidance change; a guide is a dated snapshot of a checked position, and its checking date tells you how current the snapshot claims to be. We correct errors openly on the corrections page.
